3D TV shipments to reach 78 million units by 2015, says iSuppli
Global 3D television shipments will soar to 78 million units by 2015, rising at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 80% from 4.2 million in 2010, iSuppli predicts. Revenues from shipments of these sets will boom to US$64.4 billion in 2015, up by nearly a factor of nine from US$7.4 billion in 2010.
