Does the NVIDIA Geforce 3D Vision kit need a 3D monitor?

I think any TV or monitor can reproduce 3D images, but because it seems that you need a Samsung sync master or some other tv / monitor that says he can play for play with 3D this equipment.

I am looking for a Samsung LCD TV and am curious to know if it will be compatible with Geforce NIVIDIA 3D vision.Sur nvidia site says it works with LCD monitors SyncMaster 120Hz (manufactured by Samsung), but does not mention all the great Samsung’s LCD TVs . Est anyone know where I can find more information about this? Thank you.
